The stories of many great musicians have made the leap to the big screen over the years, from the likes of Johnny Cash (Walk The Line, 2005) and Selena Quintanilla-Perez (Selena, 1997) to Ray Charles (Ray, 2004) and Ritchie Valens (La Bamba, 1987).

Now one of the most successful acts of all time will have its turn in Hollywood, when Frankie Valli and the story of the Four Seasons makes its way to theaters with the adaptation of the hit Broadway musical, Jersey Boys.More on Jersey Boys here.

The Beach Boys, currently in the midst of their 50th anniversary tour, will appear on QVC television network tonight, May 16, at 7 pm ET. Fans can tune in and watch the boys promote their new album, That’s Why God Made the Radio, which débuts June 5.Find out more here!

The cover of The Beatles’ Abbey Road is an iconic image in popular culture, but now a variation on that photo is up for sale.

A rare photo of the Beatles walking in the opposite direction from the original album cover on Abbey Road may fetch around $16,000 (£10,000) at an auction on May 22. It is one of only six pictures taken during the shoot by photographer Iain McMillan.More facts on the famous photo.

In Dark Shadows, the latest collaboration between Johnny Deep and director Tim Burton, Alice Cooper adds a sense of authenticity to the vampire comedy set in 1972. Although Cooper’s single “No More Mr. Nice Guy” wasn’t released until 1973, the iconic shock-rocker performs the hit, as well as his 1971 song “Ballad of Dwight Fry,” in the film.

However, Cooper’s cameo in Dark Shadows is far from his first. Let’s revisit Cooper’s past appearances on the silver screen throughout the last 40+ years.
