Washington might have been the first president, but Kurt Cobain created the anthem to our country. He was also the man who sold the world. 1967 was the year to remember that Kurt Donald Cobain, the president of grunge was born. Who needs action when you’ve got Kurt’s words.
Though Kurt was a rockstar, he was the ruler of our world and Washington would have been proud. He was born on Washington’s birthday and he was born in Washington… that’s enough for us to rightfully consider his birthday, a national holiday, as Washington’s is.
Kurt may not have had a hemp field in bloom like George Washington but he was a warlock of weirdness that inspired all of his followers. If Kurt Cobain were president, the USA would be on a plain…and we can’t complain.
