Peter Gabriel‘s legacy is one that will surely live on for generations to come; and his impact thus far on music as well as the influence he has had on a number of artists that would come after him is nothing short of massive.
Since the early days of Genesis, the band Gabriel fronted until 1975, all kinds of stylistically diverse artists have cited Gabriel and Genesis as huge influences on who they are as musicians. Some sound more like Gabriel clones than others; and some sound like they’ve never even heard a Genesis song in their life – But without further ado, here are some of the most noted Peter Gabriel influenced bands.
