I was wearing Jeans and a V-Neck :p
Male vocals, right at the chorus 3 men harmonize and then the lead singer keeps on singing. Sounded acoustic. Probably 60′s or 70′s.

I can’t remember when I heard the two songs, but I think both are British. One is a drinking song, with lyrics something like, “when I get knocked down, I get up again”, and a refrain, “Pissing the night away.” The other song has lyrics something like, “When I wake up, I want to be the man who wakes up next to you…” and “I would walk 1,000 miles just to be the man who walks 1,000 miles to fall down at your door…”

tami! it was about 7:10 am, walking in LA song was on a bit before…its a girl singing and during part of the chorus she sings : i will never be the one… and it has some sort of trumptes in the background… going dooo doo doo doo dooo kinda like star wars darth vader theme… i wasnt wearing any clothes because i drive naked (naturally) jk. just jeans and a tee! sounds more on the newer generation. not rock.
